I got new hair.
I got new clothes.
I got a short week at work.
I got a vacation starting this Friday.
So, I am still adjusting to my new hair. I have bangs again. Cute, mostly to the side bangs, but ... I have not had bangs since I was twelve. Seriously. I grew them out in high school and never went back. Everyone's saying they look good though, but you know me, stupid all self-conscious me.
The new clothes are NICE clothes. I mean, not like omg business attire, but very nice for presenting a mature, responsible image at work. Nice for going out to dinners, or just out and about. Blouses, jackets, etc. Including one black pleather coat that is oooh sooo awesome. I really really hope I don't chicken out in actually wearing this stuff. It looks good on me, and I like the way it looks on me, but it's sooo different from 'me' that I might get all nervous with it.
I need to make a decision on the gym front too. The new location of my current gym/chain is small and does not inspire greatness in me. Or even a want to be there and exercise. That means my most likely choice is to go back to the other location and face the trainer. Hullo Queen of Avoidance! How am I going to do that, what will I say? The other option is to let that membership fade and find another new gym. Maybe one that doesn't have a contract. But I've already gone through the two biggest chains here. Grr. I need to figure this out and get back on track.
