I just had a nice, four hour long Rock Band set after not having much RB time in the past 2-3 weeks. I am exhausted... and content. I took it easy tonight, playing on Hard instead of Expert because I am still adjusting to the new bass pedal - it works better, but also seems to take a little more effort. The song difficulties are not an exact science. With guitar, it's a little more clear - going from medium to hard enables that stupid orange fret, but some of the higher level medium songs are still really insane to play. Drums, you're not adding a new skill like being able to play 5 notes on 4 fingers, so I think it's a little more arbitrary.
And some songs are easy for some instruments and not others, so the categories are approximate at best.
And humility is good, I guess, but you still rock.
