Title: Stand by you
Author: yue
genre: tragedy
length: oneshot-ish
summary: I'm right here. Even now, I'm right here. You're the only one i'm thinking of."
I often close my eyes
And I can see you smile
You reach out for my hand
And I'm woken from my dream
ALTHOUGH YOUR HEART IS MINE
ITS HOLLOW INSIDE
I never had your love
And I never will
from the echoing rain against the window, to the screaming wind that never meets the ears, he's sitting there, waiting there, and just plain worrying. From day one, it was never an i love you he was met with, never a hand to hold, nor an embrace to keep him warm. If this was love, he didn't want it no more. He thought love to be the exact opposite. For someone to catch him when he falls, someone to hold him when he's alone, someone to keep him sane while the rest of his world falls apart. But no, it hurt just as much as day one.
from their wedding vows to the kiss that never really did mean anything, he's sitting there, waiting there, and just plain dying. Warm eyes are all he ever meets, but the only thing that's ever resounded from those beautiful lips were, "we're just friends" as if everything i want to believe in is just a dream. The feeling, the emotion he's holding onto, he's standing to the one he loves, but everything, everything just seems so incomparable to before.
from the morning sun that greets him to the empty side of his bed, he's laying there, waiting there, and crying. "where are you yunnie-ah? where are you?" even though he's asking himself this, he knows the answer. He knows that the man he loves will never be next to him. will never stand next to him. always "working", always "busy". He knows, one day, that man is going to disappear just like the rest of the world. and he cries. because he knows.
. . .
he's shattering, piece by piece, into a million things. even if it seems like the person he loves is standing right next to him, he's falling and breaking piece by piece.
君はどこにいて 誰とどこにいて
where are you going? who are you with?
どんな服を着て 何して笑ってるんだろう
What clothes you are wearing?
僕はここにいて 今もここにいて
I’m here and still here
君と二人でまた会えると信じているよ
believing that we'll meet again.
