Circus Memory

(Inspired by cakeandmilqueWhen I was 5 my Mom and Dad took my two older sisters (6 and 7 years older then I am) and me to the Shrine Circus. My Dad had gotten us awesome seats, maybe two rows back from all the action. I do the same thing!
This http://www.cavalia.net/ has been setting up for weeks. It's a HUGE white circus tent and everyday as I drive past it on my way to work I think about that movie.

By the way...your Dad ROCKS! I would have loved the giant bluebird with flappable wings!

I went to see Ringling Bro's when I was in the first grade. Me, my brother, and my parents. I had to pee reaallly bad, and my dad took me. The line was so long I missed the tigers!! I was so disappointed!!!
They also had this "unicorn". It was a goat. :P I got a plastic unicorn toy that rocked, though.

I recall going to Ringling Brothers when I was 10 with my uncle and his overly chatty hippie friends. They had this act where ropes were dropped from the cieling and these very scantily clad girls in almost see-through tights slid down the ropes and started posing very suggestively midway. It became very quiet from where my uncle and his male friends were sitting. I was pretty quiet too, realizing at that point that girls weren't that bad after all.
