I started my new job yesterday. It is most refreshing to wake up and actually want to come into work. I feel so relieved knowing I NEVER have to go back to my old job EVER again. It is pure unadulterated BLISS

From an earlier entry of mine: "Normalizing for other factors, a good view (plants, activity, a wide visual angle) can boost worker productivity by between 8% and 40%. In short, a workplace that isn't an oppressive box, that makes the occupant a happier person (and is generally regarded as a distraction by the business world) is actually a whole lot more conducive to getting things done. Apparently this has something to do with the sensitivity to blue-wavelength light of the circadian ganglia lining the surface of the retina."
How am I? Okay, I suppose. The move is hurtling toward us with alarming rapidity and there is yet much that needs to be done. That said, finding a place that is not merely tolerable was a big relief. Electric, Gas and Water have all been transferred to our names. We now need to get a phone line, cable of some sort and internet.
