Being a father, I may or may not have teared up at this. Oh, who am I kidding? I totally got wet in the eyes.

I've thought about this a lot, if I were ever lucky enough to be a mother. I would honestly have no issue with pain medication. I would just want my baby hear with as little stress or drama involved for both of us. I figure I have nothing to prove, just get my baby here safely. Hope that made sense.

i was set on having a natural birth, i really wanted a water birth, but i was not comfortable with the place that offers that and didn't want a home birth. i wanted the natural birth for the intense bonding that is supposed to go with it.

i am glad that i was at the hospital though, anywhere else and my boy may not have made it.
