I can't really answer this because it doesn't match my beliefs. I don't believe that's quite how reincarnation works.

i can't say that that is how i believe it works either, but it was a random ponder brought on by something someone else had said. so, yeah...

Our planet is more (over)populated than ever before, and the numbers are on the rise, so I doubt there's a shortage of souls. That's one of the many reasons reincarnation doesn't make logical sense to me.
