I also love the bits of humor scattered throughout - Morgana and Gwen rearranging the furniture (yes! that room never stays the same), and this line: 'Gwen did not ask, as Morgana half expected her to, “Arthur has books?”' Hee. Lovely chap! :)

(Also, yay for medieval lit! I dabbled in undergrad and roomed next to a gal doing her MA in MedLit in grad school while I took up the history end of the spectrum. I rather miss it! Though, admittedly, if I never have to read another literary criticism or translation (prose or otherwise) of the Wife of Bath, I can die a happy girl.)

Yay for medieval history as well! Yeah, the Wife of Bath gets way overdone, and I feel kind of guilty admitting that, when it comes to Chaucer, I'd much rather teach The Book of the Duchess or The Parliament of Fowls.
