Baby, life isn't just about passing on our genetic heritage or our bloodline, it's more than that. God made us different from animals, we have souls. With that, a collection of our experiences and emotions.

I guess we will never know what it's really like to have children until we become parents ourselves, to see your own blood and flesh moving about. The thought of us, the parent, bringing life into this world, a miniature copy of yourself laughing, dancing and crying. The fact that your baby is so vulnerable and dependent on you. I think having a child is more than just passing on some simple genetic material, it encompasses far more than that, it's part of the human experience. People want to love. It's something that so hard to put in words, hahaha...

I guess there are some intangible and indescribable joy in raising a child, which is why parents don't just dump us in thrash bins.

haha val, i think it's cos we want people to take care of us in the future when we are old and sickly. cos we can't possibly rely on people our age e.g. our spouses/our siblings when they're probably going to be equally weak like us. of course some kids turn out to be horribly unfilial.. but well. the norm is, we all love our parents and will work hard to support them when they grow old :) if not my parents will never have kids. haha!
