Either i'm a bitch, or just hyper-sensitive at spotting awkward people. Also: how TV stole my brain.

So. Last night, I was thinking about how boring this journal is. I've decided I want to try to do posts of substance, instead of "this is what I did today", "JUDY GARLAND IS RIDICULOUS", and/or "Oh, hi. I'm bored. Here's a survey." I've been reading Carrie Fisher's blog (@ carriefisher.com, if you're interested), and it makes me want to do more ( Read more... )

Oh man, so true. I worked at Rite-Aid for a year, then CVS for almost two. Craziest times of my life. I feel like I have way too many hilarious moments that involved strangers.

Aaaaand I want you to pull a Skye and do a picspam. Preferably of MMK/L&S/whatever.

Oh man. Drugstores are where it's AT.

AH YES, PICSPAM. Such win. Give me guidelines for said picspam, because I become neurotic when I'm doing them on my own, and they become a dreadful mess.

It's in Bryn Athyn, so right outta Illadelphia. I really do not want to go there (because like... it's semi-faith based, and I AM the Anti-Christ), but my sister went there and liked it, and it's cheap, and it's far enough away from home to be away, but close enough for me to go back home at the drop of a hat. So basically, my parents want me to go there. And I HATEHATEHATE school, so I could be going to the most epic University in the world, and I'd still want to self-mutilate.

What's it called? Is it St. Joe's?

Whatever it is, I probably know it. Considering I know someone about every school in southeastern Pennsylvania.

It's called Bryn Athyn College. And it makes me sad.

My most memorable moment with a stranger was a jump rope trip where a bunch of the instructors went skiing. And this person and I were the only ones who didn't know how to ski. Anyway, spent half the day with said personage and all of the sudden I asked it a question that was gender based. I had been uncomfortable the whole time because I was 12 and thought said person was a boy. She was a girl. She was awkward. She had the voice and the hair that screamed, "I am boy." Couldn't have been more embarrassed, but to this day I still feel justified--and embarrassed.

It was special. I still can't believe how awful I feel about it. It was the most awkward moment when she was like, "I'm a girl." :P

OH HELL. Once when I was on my way to a cello lesson, a bible thumper approached me and tried to convert me. Like, on the spot. It was awkward and hilarious all at the same time, especially when i boldly told him that I was Jewish. His face went WHITE ( ... )
