If you could have dinner with any figure in history, who would it be and why?I thought about this for a very long time before answering. There are obvious answers, of course. James. Harry. Remus. Sirius. My parents. Dumbledore. Maybe even You-Know-Who. Ask him why he did what he did. Why I'm dead. Not that I think he'd have a decent ( Read more... )

A civil meal over which I'd get the answers to my questions.
And maybe I'd put poison in the food.

*nostalgic sigh* A practical and efficient solution, dear lady. I used a similar method myself, once.

*bows*

But I forgot to introduce myself: Londo Mollari, Ambassador of the Centauri Republic.

*smiles* Lily Potter.

And ... what exactly are you the Ambassador of? Is that a Muggle school? Or maybe another Wizarding republic I haven't heard of?

The Centauri, fair lady, live on another planet altogether, and I represent them on the space station Babylon 5. I would ask you about the terms you use, but vila_restal has explained to me what "Muggle" means. Since I cannot claim any magical powers, you might call me one.

Incidentally, I did meet wizards before. We call them technomages. Unfortunately, due to certain...misunderstandings, it has been a less than joyful occasion. In general, though, meeting a wizard is regarded as a sign of good fortune by my people, which is yet another reason why I am glad to make your acquaintance.

Wow. *looks impressed* I've met vampires and other strange creatures, but people from another planet ... that's new.

Well, I'm glad I'm a sign of good fortune to someone. Is it still a sign of good fortune to meet a wizard when she's dead?

Your answers are always better than mine. *sigh* Suppose that's what I get for marrying a genius.

Yeah, being married to me must be rough. *grins*

It is! You're always walking around with your big, smart brain and your red hair, singing Muggle songs I don't know, but I love anyway, and by God, it's rough on me!

And you never, ever let me wear the pirate hat.

*laughs* I never said you couldn't wear the pirate hat, but there's a time and a place for that, Mr. Potter.

*trying desperately not to let anyone else overhear*

Lily?
*shiftily* I told Sirius and R..Remus what happened. He would have killed me, Lily, if I hadn't joined him.

But...he should never have found me at all, I know. It seemed like a game Lily, none of it was real then. And then it all turned...wrong.

And I was scared, and He was after James and I just kept my head down. Then Sirius came and I couldn't get out of being secret keeper. I tried Lily, I did. You know Sirius, he never listens. Listened.

I miss all of you.

OOC stuff he won't say on that day is here

hi lilypotter, i listen to christian music... i am waitin to buy another cd, can't wait
have you heard about The Christ? it's a movie about the last hours of Jesus' life before the Crucifixion - i've heard a lot of good things about it, and i agree after seeing the trailers...
i'll include a few links below. check these out, they moved me. i mean, if a TRAILER can make you cry, it's got to be some movie!

Some trailers

Information
The Passion of the Christ (flash)
Other trailers
i dont want to clutter up your journal, but i would hope you and some of your friends would actually appreciate this - i'm trying to spread the word about this film , i feel that compelled!
later lilypotter,

Um, yeah, thanks. How about you seriously piss off, as this is a fictional journal for fictional purposes.

By, the way, the movie is called The Passion of Christ, not 'The Christ'.

Also, my name is not Lily Potter, so I find it interesting that you're preaching to a fictional character.

Not that James is up on Muggle movies that come out in, oh, 24 years, but it actually *is* called The Passion of the Christ. And oh, does that make me laaaaaaugh. So ridiculous.
