I love the voice for young Regulus in this story. These were just one of my favourite bits. And oh, Bellatrix is creepy, even just in that little Legilimency scene...
She told me that it was because Blacks deserve to be treated with respect wherever they go, and that Blacks have to work hard to keep earning that respect which is why Mama visits St Mungo’s.
This is an interesting contradiction, the idea of natural superiority but that something has to be done to keep it?
I like the parallels between Draco and Regulus, and Regulus's worry over having been someone's cause of death, even if it was "only a muggle"... and the somewhat indeterminate ending, even if we do now know what it was canonically.
