During that phone call, I had yelled, “Stop calling me!” then hung up immediately.
In the context, I don't call that harsh. I call it final. And it apparently was necessary!
So why do I have a feeling that you will call again in one, two, five years and complain that I was mean to you? I'd be really surprised if he didn't! :(
Eew, stalkers! I have an ex who FB'd me out of the blue after I had cut off contact being all "I got my life together and would love to hear stories about how you got your life together." I said something like "I don't want to talk to you; please never contact me again."
Yeah, when we cut off contact, we do it for a reason. I spent a while after this phone call spluttering to anyone who would listen about how people are weird and I don't understand them. Though I'm not sure these people are people.
Thank you! I never like hitting people over the head with creepy, so I just went with simple and let the sense of something being wrong show through. Plus, some fish should be thrown back in the dating pool.
Really? Why would she think you'd be willing to pack up and leave everything for that? *shakes head* I do not understand these people. I really don't. I don't understand the mindset of being so unwilling to let go.
You're welcome. I'm glad I wrote something with that effect on you.
