This was wonderful, Bee. I loved what you did with this prompt and made it feel very real. I love how you tackled the politics and ethics of the situation and also focused on the Lily/James dynamic and how it affected them. The ending was perfect and I loved that in the end, James asked Lily to move in with him, he quit his job and the two of them begin their path with the OotP. Great job! <3

To be honest, I wasn't sure we'd get much Lily/James time out of this prompt, but I should have known better. Brilliantly done. I loved how you incorporated a little bit of everything here but still managed to make it central around Lily and James. Not everything's roses and lollipops, and I love that you've shown that here.

UM.

UM.

UM.

OH MY GOD.

I CANNOT EVEN. JUST. THIS IS LIKE EVERYTHING I WANT AND LOVE IN A MWPP ERA LILY/JAMES STORY. POLITICS, PRIVILEGE BS REGARDING JAMES, ROMANCE. JUST. YES.

I really cannot express how much I love this. I knew you'd do a good job with this prompt, but this seriously took my breath away. Lily was perfect, and I love how passionate you made her. And James' reactions were so understandable and even if I am ultimately on Lily's side of the argument she was making, James' apprehension and fear was totally realistic. This also just flowed beautifully. And Gloria was fucking brill, I loved her attitude and little quotes to live by (well, for a Muggleborn to live by). You really made it seem like she was an inspirational figure, and quite the character.

JUST. I CAN SAY MORE BUT. GOD.

PERFECT. JUST PERFECT.
