Oh God, Castle is going to be insane. They're going to give us some ridiculous cliffhanger too, I'm sure.
From what I've researched, that article on Paget's pilot is actually wrong. It listed a bunch of shows that "weren't picked up" but three of the shows on that list have subsequently been picked up. So I don't think it's been "officially" rejected yet, but I still don't think it's going to get picked up. It doesn't seem that interesting to me. I feel like I shouldn't be happy either, but I'm crossing my fingers that her pilot doesn't get picked up lol.
