I start the Big Brothers Big Sisters program at Catholic East next week. I was supposed to start this week, but the people at BBBS thought CVSL was calling me...and vice versa. So I just start next week. I can't wait to meet my little. :)

That's all for now. Back to study for my Personality exam (and no need for a comment from YOU Julie. lol)

Thats awesome that you're getting involved with BBBS! I've always wanted to participate in one of those programs. I hope you connect with a great kid, how do they assign a kid to you. Do they choose their own or what. It sounds really interesting!

Sorry I haven't talked to you in so long, after school started back up, I've been eating my homework just to keep moving. I have been reading your posts, though I should comment on some of them. It will be nice to hear from you when you have some freetime =P.

Aww Kat! Seeing a message from you made me smile!

I'm not sure how they pair us up. Or well..I kinda know. They asked me an assload of questions at the interview, and asked about my personality and what kinds of things I'd like to do with my little (i.e., tutoring, playing, watching movies, reading books, etc.). I was a pretty easy candidate cuz I'm pretty much up for anything. hehe.

This program is kinda different than your standard BBBS thing, where most people do 1 on 1 things with their littles. I'm going to be at my little's school for 2 1/2 hrs every week. So yeah, we'll see how this goes! I'm super excited. Write me more! OR IM me, silly. You HAVE my SN!
