So, yet again, I forgot to update LJ the last time I updated MySpace. So, this was my last entry.
Randomness yet again...
So instead of catching up on my reading for Art History and/or Bio, I decided it'd be much more fun to write a new blog. Although not too much has been going on in the wonderful world of Lils aside from school and a lack of work.
As far as school is concerned, things are going well so far. I have my first exams next week in Biology and Art History. Hopefully both of these will go well. Biology had better go well, considering the exam is open note. For the most part I really am enjoying most of my classes. The only one I'm kind of iffy about is Personality Theory, and only because this class is almost identical to the Personality class I took last semester. I kind of like taking 12 credits, but the classes I'm taking make it way too easy for me to skip out on classes. My ultimate goal this week is to go to every class (which hasn't happened at all this semester). Although I like the class load, I really wish I were working more, which is why I took the lower load to begin with. I've got way too much extra time on my hands (although as a result I've been a lot more social this semester than I have been since my first semester Freshman year).
Speaking of work...I'm so over Trade Secret. I've been screwed over 1 too many times, and I really really dislike my manager. She's lazy (as is another person who will remain nameless here...although if I've talked to anyone about my situation at work, they already know her name) and has no personality. It drives me absolutely crazy that she sits around while everyone else works their ass off. What the hell kind of manager does this? I miss Shanda. She was by far the BEST manager I have ever had. She made her relationship with us personal, but could get down to business if she needed to. She turned our little salon into a family, and I still feel that way with the majority of the girls; all but the 2 that I have a problem with (and both are newer editions to our Salon). But enough of my little rant...I've started applying for new jobs, and I went and talked to Tony (manager at Gap) and he told me he could probably hire me back in about a month.
In other news, I officially got my tickets to ATL for March. Yay! I cannot wait to meet the new Wasian (yes, Wasian lol) bundle of joy. And I can't wait to see everyone down south again. Not to mention, I plan on hopefully meeting with someone from Georgia State about their Grad programs, specifically their Counseling Psychology program. And total bonus: warmer weather. YES. I'll wear skirts again.
I was going to add more to this, but I'm no longer motivated...lol. I'll add more later. Enjoy, kids. :)
