Lost my cable connection about 11:00 last night. That takes my internet with it...along with the cable TV *and* my phones. I think it was a dumb move to have bundled it all together since the cable is the first thing affected in storms here. The ice is getting thicker and the connection will probably poop out on me again. So far, the school ( Read more... )

I had to get up at 5:30 a.m. to take a couple of painkillers... And because it was hailing and my room sounded like a drum :P

Ew, hail. Everytime it hails at my house it sounds like we are under attack. ^^

We live in a flat and the only window in my room is to the staircase. Which has a window on the roof made of plastic, so when it hails it's like a drumroll, and I keep waiting for things to happen :P

Thanks! The kids stayed home safe. I just got home safe, and guess what I found waiting for me in my mailbox? I can't wait to try it! Thank you sooo much! Caitlin saw the chocolate Santa. :sigh: I'm gonna have to share. :pout: lololol

Let me know if you like both! I can always get more tea when I restock, and I've a few pieces of chocolate left over still!

Well, that bundling thing...no I have my decision. I was thinking about doing that with our phone, but I have been hesitant for just that reason and believe it or not, it helps to hear someone else's frustration with it. I don't think I'm going to go there. ^_^

I am stranded on the top of our big hill in Leitchfield. Can't go down and even if I could somehow magically slide the car around the turns and everything, I wouldn't be able to make it back up.

I've been going crazy and had to delve into my box set of extended edition Lord of the Rings and bash Elijah Wood for not getting his scrawny butt up Mount Doom faster.

Hum, well, stay safe today and watch out for all the crazies on the road!

when my husband and i lived on the contry for some months (before i ran back to the city, screaming xD i never was a contry girl apparently) then our connection would pop all the time, it was horrid!

And yeah i would have kept my kids home too if it was really, really bad weather.
