I'm wondering if anyone still reads this journal or the writings within? Yes, I've been mostly absent for a few years now...only reading and never commenting or posting. I guess I just don't want to fade away when I once used to enjoy writing and interacting with the great people on here so much.

Was thinking about you recently and wondering how you were doing. So glad to "hear" from you again! Hope all is well. My info hasn't changed thus far. Haven't seen too many of the old crowd on LJ these days. Think many have moved on to DW or AO. Would love an update.

I still read! Aside from occasional year-round browsing, I go on a reading binge every year, from October's lengthening hours of darkness until the end of the year. I barrel through old favorites, primarily Gundam Wing, then explore other anime or live action fanfics my old authors have added.

Got rid of TV many years ago, but my search for free alternatives has gradually become almost impossible. I can no longer find live baseball or basketball on alternate sites; TV cable contract is required to view sports on computer. Amazon Prime seduced me with free Merlin (after a flat payment for access to their programming) and then switched Merlin and others I liked to pay per episode -- as much as $5 or $6 each! And that makes long series a ridiculous and unacceptable cost.

I'm still trying to hold on through fanfiction! :D
