Last night I went to the Royal Shakespeare Company to see Douglas Coupland perform. It was amazing, incredible, fantastic. It was a ninety minute monologue entitled 'September 10th 2001'. Well, I have arrived safely home after a week camping in Wales - which was cold, wet and dismal - but have totally enjoyed the activities on offer. I've been hiking, climbing, looking at old churches, climbing old churches, running up hills, walking through waterfalls and enjoying the outdoorsy life! I was outside today and it struck me suddenly that home just smelt so right. It was a fresh, clean, breeze with the scent of rain on the horizon (this is England after all). The air smelt grass green and unsullied. It was cool, with a refreshing draft and was just a wonderful moment.
