i went snowboarding today for the first time ever.  it was hard, frusterating, exhausting, and i had about 10 minutes of fun in the whole adventure.  but i was well prepared for that type of rough first experience so i am okay with it.  i did learn some good skills and jen was a very patient teacher as opposed to my very impatient learning ( Read more... )

i'm in love love love

so my life is fabulous right now!  super-great-amazing-fabulous.  i have a girlfriend who i adore.  i have been offered a new job that i think i will love.  i have a roommate moving in and she is hilarious.  i just saw a great friend of mine that i haven't seen in about 2 years.  my mom is coming to visit in a few weeks!... the list goes on and on ( Read more... )

i have made decision. i am going to day shift next week, i will give it one or 2 months. if i am still bored with my life, travel nursing here i come!

if anyone loves to read (fiction) and doesnt mind long books, i have a wonderful series of books that i have just finished and absolutely loved. sort of a cross between historical/romance/sci-fi.
