As much as I love me some Snape, I have to say that the reaction he got from Lily, he deserved. The man was running around with the bad guys. Evidently Lily's friendship to him wasn't enough. Even in his memories, they admit to being friends. Once he overstepped the boundaries of calling her a Mudblood, that did it for her. Hell. If I were to draw parallels, had a friend Caucasian friend who was also friends with racist and the one day, out of anger, slips up and calls me the "N" word, trust me, I'm not going to continue that friendship. That's the way I look at it

I just finished reading tonight. I liked the book though I had wished some things to be better. My main concern is that it ends too abruptly! It needed at least another chapter to answer all the questions, like, how did Kreacher escape from the Death Eaters, how did Neville get the sword of Gryffindor, who became headmaster, did Ron, Hermione and Harry return for their final year, etc etc etc.
Also some nice follow up with Aberforth would have been nice. And some mourning of all the dead!
The epilogue...it read like bad fanfiction I'm sorry! I thought it would be different, a narration of all of the characters and there jobs and who they married and so forth.
I couldn't have said it better myself! It definitely feels like a bad fanfiction.
