ARGH!!! I'm so pissed at the Sims2! I've lost all of my downloads and all of my Sims. ;_; How this happened I have no clue. I just did a system restore hoping the downloads would be there but alas, no such luck

Yeah it sucks. :( I should have back upped my files when I uninstalled Bon Voyage. Grr. It won't happen again though.

I am sorry that this happened to you. I guess the computer thing is a learning process. Then again: I heard from others how SimS can be a REAL pain in the butt.

I think I forgot about doing backups when uninstalling expansion packs. *sigh* Yes the Sims can be a pain or rather EA can be a pain! Especially that Download manager.

I'm not much of a gamer, so I can't say anything useful about lost characters and such.
However, I have extensive experience with computers crapping out on me, so I most definitely feel your pain!

Yes, computers...you think you know everything but it does something to you lol. It does suck but I'm just downloading things again and will always be sure to make backups.

I used to have a Sims addiction, you know, HUGE downloads and expansion packs and stuff. So.. I UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN. *hugs*

Yeah, Sims can be a pain sometimes. Did you get tired of it all and quit?

Yep, I quit. It was beginning to get to me. And my pc couldn't take a game that huge, with the downloads folder and stuff. I actually quit and started again and it happened a few times, like an addiction. But now I'm out of it for good. Thank God =D
