1 & 2. The buckle seems pretty nice to me. Textures aside, it seems like the carseat buckles I've seen. :)

I personally wouldn't download it unless I was using it for specific decorations in a house. It's not because I don't like it, but because I have no use for it at the moment. However, I really like it, Beth!! :)

I like it! I think the buckle looks right. Definitely would download it, that would be quite useful. :)

Is it going to sit on a flat surface? (Like the floor, or a table using OMSPs?)

Yes, it will. I'm not sure how to get the deco baby to snap into it, but I can ask around. I think I'll have to make it like an OMSP, so that the baby snaps into it, and then you can put it on an OMSP to pose it further if you want.
