I typed this novel-length reply to another post and decide that all that effort should be rewarded with wider publication, so yes, all of you should be subjected to the same torture, and thus I give you...
I'm so glad you remember George! I never felt like I got to properly say good-bye to him. He was just...gone. I loved George, and I think of him every time I look out my door.
Gray and Shadow sound like sweet. Lovely. Stray cats can be irresistible.
Too true, and sadly that seems to be mostly true for my favorite humans as well *shrugs unhappily* Still, I have to be grateful for the time I got to spend with them.
It's not just cats, for me, btw. There are several birds and squirrels in my past too *^_^*
It's really sad, although this happens a lot to me with domeatic cats as well, because I don't have the heart to keep them indoors. My dad's cat Grisha recently disappeared, and I feel really bad, although my dad's neighborhood is pretty cat-friendly and quiet and I think there's a solid chance he just found somewhere he liked better, my dad's a cantankerous old man and it's happened before. Also, Grisha was really pissed at me for not having visited in a while :/
