Because this is the way the world works... I just happen to get my first troll comment to a fic post when I am completely frustrated with fandom.

You all know how I feel about wank. I just don't get involved. But let me make something abundantly clear...

i have nothing against people who hate Ginny, hell... one of my best friends is a huge Ginny-hater, but I hate people who can't respect that you like her (Ginny is also my favorite HP character) and actually try to turn you into a Ginny!basher... come on!!

I don't get people that are so hell bent on making people see their pov. As you said, I don't mind debating with open minded people, who respect my right to think and feel as I do...but I get so irritated with people who believe that their opinions are fact. 'Ship whoever the hell you want, fangirl whatever the hell you want...but don't expect me to feel the same way!!!

I LOVE your Ginny...I would even read Ginny/Draco if you wrote it, and that's saying a lot because I NEVER NEVER NEVER read that pairing. I LOVE that your favorite character is different then my favorite character...because diversity is the thing that makes the world go round. As apparently, do stupid people.

Absolutely!! I just don't get why people feel the need to push their views and opinions on others. I don't do that in real life, why the hell would I do it in fandom? *boggles*

Dude. Now that's a compliment!! *loves* I've never written D/G, though I've read a ton of it. Maybe I'll have to give it a shot sometime... just for you. ;-)

Oh, sweetie, you've been having a rough couple of days haven't you? *hugs* And I'm in total agreement with you. We like who we like, because those characters speak to something in us. Just because I like different characters than you and vice versa doesn't change anything. It just means we get different things from the various characters. And the way an author treats a character in their fic isn't always the best indication of how the author feels about that character.

By the way, your Ginny is the only one I actively read. She's who I hope JKR intends her to be as she matures.

Yeah, I just don't understand the anger towards various characters. I mean, seriously, do people have that much time on their hands? Hmmm. I guess that's a rhetorical question. :-)
