oh wow.
there is a lot i want to say about this, but first i will say....amazing!

first of all, i love that you said that brendon was a better guitar player than ryan. i (secretly) think this is true. i only noticed it after seeing them play "killer queen" live and noticed that bren plays the solo, not ryan.

also, i love that you mention trevor.

picturing that photograph of ryan kissing brendon's nose makes me happy :)

"smoothie day"--that's awesome. i can competely imagine the conversation that took place prior to the first smoothie day.

and finally, the sex...holy shit. they seem to love each other very much but the sex was insanely hot, without all the cheesy "i love you so much ryan" etc.

it was all very realistic and well written and organized in an interesting way.
i loved it!

I stumbled upon your stuff via a rec somewhere (I can't recall where now) and as I wasn't at work, I read it all today.

I adore fics where the transition of them from friends to something more is documented in a realistic fashion. None of this omg I love you/really? I love you too/let's be gay together stuff. I detest it (well, sometimes if it's really well written I can cope).

Anyhoo, I'd like to leave a worthy comment on this, but I fear it wouldn't actually be coherent.

Oh I loved this line. When I first found out that Ryan used to be the singer and Brendon was just drafted as a second guitarist I found it very hard to believe. The way Ryan used to come across in interviews (he's better now) as the shy, lost little boy who was a bit overwhelmed, had me thinking no way he could have been a frontman.
