"By what?" Zack asks, looking up from the engine, still faintly smoking.

"By this horrific trial of. Things. The bus, you know, it's God testing us," Brendon says breezily.

"We have to go on an epic quest, to prove our worth," Jon says earnestly.

Brendon and Jon make the best team. They could convince anyone of anything if they wanted to.
