So, it's quite fair to say that I love you a whole lot.

I read this this morning, but didn't have time to comment before work, and I was thinking about what to write all day (shows how exciting Claire's Accessories is right?).

I haven't reread this either, so I'm kinda winging it here.

I ADORE your characterisation of them, to me it seems completely spot on. It's how I see them in my head. I love that it wasn't all roses and pretty things, it was hard and frustrating and you got that. Sometimes part of me gets sick of everything about the OTP being all sweetness and light, so I loved the angst factor, and that they sort of came together through the fighting. Angry sex is the best thing ever (write more! you must one day. Angry sex rules the world)

I'm sure I had something witty to add, but Kayt = goldfish alas

This is a really interesting character piece, and I don't know enough about the religion aspect to tackle it myself, but I think you do a really nice job of blending it all. There are some really great insights into Ryan and Brendon, and I like that the push and pull happens on both sides. The spark in their relationship and interaction is really great, and I like that there isn't any sort of neat resolution, but the situation does feel somehow better, hopeful. Very nice.

Thank you!

I was kind of trying to avoid a really nice and sweet ending because I don't think it really would have fit, so I'm glad that it worked for you.
