Title: Quartet Author: Telis (theaerosolkid) Rating: G Pairing: Panic! At the Disco Summary: we_are_cities, multiple prompts; introspection. Word Count: 3177 Disclaimer: Fake, fake, fake.
Oh my God, that is the best compliment I have ever gotten in my life. Can I, like, snuggle you for forever now? Seriously. I mean, I was having a terrible day, all emo, sitting here in the computer lab (working on that elusive longer fic, actually, haha) and then this shows up in my Gmail inbox and *flails*. Thank you so much.
And, ohh, man, I'm right there with you on the watching other people with the creativity. *cuddles the fandom*
I am most certainly not bony :) that's my little sister's job; I got the boobs in the family. S'okay, though, she got the legs, lol.
< brendon urie impression > I have a strict policy against stealing free therapy from anyone not on my flist! < / brendon urie impression>
that was a stunningly inept and dorky message saying, hey! you're cool! friend me!
Hey, your philosophical makes my emo go away. You're talking about why I read so much fic: it's all new and interesting. We all look at the same basic stuff; our canon is all pretty much the same (assuming we're all equally well-informed, which isn't always a safe assumption to make) and there are so many billions of interpretations that it never gets old. Endless discussion; I love it. One of my favourite compliments (*preens*) was when I wrote "Presence" and somebody told me that they loved "this Jon". How cool is that, that we can say stuff like that? Know what I mean?
1. Talk about Brendon's crisis of faith and therefore dispel the myth that he is an utter airhead 2. Inform the world that Spencer Smith is in charge of it 3. Further the world's understanding that Jon Walker really is The Best Thing Ever, emphasis included 4. Spend some time examining Ryan's relationship with his creativity and how this is linked to his father WHO IS A PERSON AND NOT A 2-DIMENSIONAL ALCOHOLIC-ONLY type deal
I'm glad you really liked it!! Ryan was the hardest one to write, that sneaky little bugger. As mentioned above, Jon Walker is the Best Thing Ever.
Just gonna let you know now: you're welcome to friend both or either my fic (lilywhitelilith) and personal (theaerosolkid) journals, but I will demand both internets-snuggles and that you join in on my ridiculous fangirling :D
If you stalk me...I would feel SO SPECIAL, no lie. Because I love your fic, and you seem like a disgustingly witty, enjoyable person, ahaha, I'm so weird it hurts.
Yay friends :D Melissa is a weirdo and, though she is Californian, is prone to not only speaking in third person, annoyingly enough, but also to spelling words the "wrong" way as well - grey, favourite, colour, etc. Truly I am special.
Mission! Yes! It is a mission. An epic one. Volunteers welcome and loved :D
Lurking's all good. I'll be up-front with you: I am an attention whore like no other. Four years of high school theatre will do that to you. Addendum to this: I totally am happy with whatever you do in terms of comments. Lurkers ftw! I am guilty of this myself.
You...erm. Are awesome. Legendary like whoa. *holds hands out for special treats*
"steeped like a teabag in religious hypocrisy, the only sweetening was music, oozing like honey, never flowing, you can't let these things just come to you, you have to fight them a little, and they always leave some of themselves behind"
"Bitterness, anger, despair; these are things he learned at his father's knee. Sweetness, forgiveness, hope; these are things he learned at his father's grave."
Wow. I just read all four of these, but I think this one was my favourite. Especially those two lines.
Jon saved him from an utter lack of faith. He had started to take Brendon and Spencer for granted; Brent was dragging them down, and then Jon came along, and ohh, it was so beautiful, even before the physical expression; so perfect, so wonderful that Ryan thought he might want to reconsider his strict policy on denying divinity.
Oh, Jon Walker, the things you do. This is a beautiful story. I hope really hard that Ryan has SOMETHING keeping him sane, if not exactly this. (Naturally of course this would be ideal.)
PS. My missions in this fandom are as follows:
1. Talk about Brendon's crisis of faith and therefore dispel the myth that he is an utter airhead
Jon Walker: The Best Thing Ever. Thanks so much, I'm glad you liked it :D
I'm loved? Awesome. Fandom is so life-affirming, guys, we're crazy but it tastes like happy. Anyway: if you liked this, there's more. Part of a collection, if you will; feel free to friend me, etc, glad you had a good time, enjoy your weekend, ad nauseam. :3
