Wow, thanks! I'm always cautious about posting my stuff because it is so blatantly spirituality-themed, so I'm sincerely pleased to hear that it worked for you. Thanks again :)

I read this but honestly, I'm not sure what to say. That might sound pathetic on my part, but whatever. I'm being honest at least. It was good. It was really interesting and I like how you constructed this story. =]

Pathetic, nahh. I hope it was a good feeling, the fumbling-for-words bit.

Thanks for the comment!

That. Was. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I really am just about speechless.
The idea felt very personal to me and you have no idea how much this really affected me. No one has really touched on religion in Panic! slash, and no one has captured the very torn feeling that you have in this. Just. I'm at a loss for words.
Maybe part of me hopes that Brendon is still sort of affected by his Mormon roots, even though it doesn't appear as so. Or I hope he was affected.
I feel like I can't think of anything more to say that wouldn't make this sort of unbearably personal, but that was extraordinary.
So moving. Especially for anyone who's ever been influenced by religion or God.

Wow, thanks so much. That means a lot, it really does.

You know, if you're looking for more religion themes done well, I have to recommend "Like You Imagined" by jzbell and...some story whose name completely escapes me, by ficbyzee. They're both lovely. And this is the tacky bit wherein I say that it's somewhat a common theme in my own works as well, featured strongly in "Us", "Landslide", and "The Beginner's Guide to Recognizing Your Saints", "Fire On Your Tongue", "Beating [Faster, Faster]", and "Irrevocably Combined". All of my writing really has ties to spirituality and man's relationship with God but it's sometimes pretty well hidden. Or so I hope, ahaha.

Anyway, I'm really glad that you liked this. It means a lot, it truly does ♥

I've kind of missed you! You are most likely the only person doing the whole religious battle in a believable way. You make it hurt.

ALSO, I have not been around. I need to straighten out some priorities. How is the epic fic?

AHAHA ONLY KIND OF?

;)

Epic fic is...gah. Accidentally lost everything, ugh, had to piece it back together from Googledocs and email snippets. Horrifying, really, I've lost a fair amount of motivation, at least for the time being. IT WILL BE DONE, THOUGH, HOLY GOD.
