I like the way you split this into months (it was interesting to see the year from a non-American pov), nice characterisation and a really full story.

This was absolutely amazing

"No, I'm Ryan. I teach English," Ryan says slowly. = That sentence made me forgo bed...I started reading around 5 am, thinking about sleep after that chapter, but...noooo...no sleep for me!!!

But, no worries...this was so much better, and totally worth it. The characterizations were amazing, and I loved how...at ease everything was. Even when there was a bit of turmoil, there was an overall sense that, like Brendon reminded us, everything would work out. And it felt so real. Made me miss high school, lol.

Thanks for this...now, it's bed time!
