frankly I'd be happier if they scaled back the F35 bullshit as well. VTOL is nice, but the thing is unnecessarily convoluted and expensive and the maintainance costs will be astronomical. they really need to go back to the drawing board and tell the engineers who are coming up with designs that it isnt necessary to incorporate EVERY new technological toy developed in the last 20 years into this thing.
