I'm so sleepy!!!

Lately I'm going to the cinema every week! Last movies I saw were: Memoirs of a Geisha, The Rent, Pride & Prejudice and so on...What about you? Do you prefer renting a Dvd or go to the cinema? Tell me all about it ;O)

I like both actually, but they feel quite different to me. When I go to the cinema I usually go there together with friends or my boyfriend, and because it's very expensive to go to the cinema (at least 6 € here in Göttingen) I don't go very often and select very carefully the movies I'm going to see. Watching a movie on the big screen usually leaves a deeper feeling for the film inside me, makes a bigger impression on me plus I think there are films which have an affect only if watched on the big screen, e.g. with landscapes. Going to the cinema is for me usually a social event when I like to do something together with my friends and when I'm very much interested in a film. But I also like renting a dvd, because it's cheaper I can watch more films, and usually I like to rent a movie when I'm alone at home and want to relax, then I can decide myself which film I want to watch and it's very comfortable in my room. I have a notebook, so I can watch the dvd even in bed if I feel like it :)

here the tickets are 5,20€. I also like to rent movies and see it at home with my bf.and I agree some films need to be seen at the cinema!!hugs

i prefer going to the cinema as it's a big screen and feels like going out. i never rent dvd's, i prefer to buy them on sale

yes I also LOVE the cinema. I use to rent lots of dvd's nowadays I download them from internet lol

i download sometimes too, but i find it uncomfortable to sit in front of my computer to watch a movie. i haven't found a way yet to burn them on a dvd

I have a program to pass them to dvd.well there are several I use clone dvd.

I like both :) depending on my mood. Also, there are some movies that must be seen at the cinema, at least the 1st time, while others can be watched on tv only... So it depends...
Btw, did you like pride and prejudice? I'd like to go to see it too!

I rent movies hardly ever.. I have pretty many on dvd and buy every now and then more, mostly from sales. :) Recently I've been to movies pretty many times as well, and it kinda varies from time to time, sometimes it takes ages between the times, and sometimes there's seasons I go rather frequently..

Last movies I've seen at movie theartre, they've been: Äideistä parhain [Mother of Mine], In Her Shoes, Corpse Bride and Matti - Elämä on ihmisen parasta aikaa [Matti - Hell Is For Heroes]

yes it happens to me too sometimes I don't go to the cinema for months and then I start going everyweek lol
