A delighful week of light
LJ Monday and Tuesday had much yoga with my teacher trainer
who was unexpectedly verbose with her praise of my aware care as I assisted her in a special focus yoga class, advanced arthritis and Parkinson’s patients. A week of Teachers' Training: May 7-13 2007
This week I took 6 days of a teachers’ training from Max Strom. All my classes for the week were subbed out, my child with others during the day every weekday.

A long, lovely day
An unexpectedly lovely day. The morning class was small enough to intensively work with each student; as their needs were mutually supportive, got to set them up for a regular class with more ‘tools’- great opportunity to use special skills!

Long delayed posting
Not posting much publicly the past few weeks…do or write! Projects in the work , new insights. I don’t like posting half-baked entries which need to be modified later. Better late and polished than thrown out timely but with rough edges which might hurt someone. Rough is often less honest than properly thought out and expressed.

Blazing Glory

Attended the Ring of Fire at Maya tonight, first series Astanga. It was a silent practice surrounded by the blaze of 500 candles, included a meditation, and there were delightful refreshments and good conversation after: Maya Yoga’s fifth anniversary, a benefit for Wayside Waifs, a local animal shelter.

I am restoring the library/guest room for hatha yoga practice again. Very slow going- lots of memories attached to the items I handled today- my mother-in-law’s journals with her entries of family events, such as the birth of her long-anticipated, and only, grandchild for whom she had waited 87 years.
