i was wondering how people get such smooth edges when they cut out an image

That's very interesting and helpful &hearts
I always resize the picture first, then erase the background with the Eraser Tool. :D

Ahh! I used to do it that way, but I have the most unsteady hands, so I stopped after a while, haha :P
