So I need to vent about the Peace Corps a little.

I've basically had to bend over backwards and jump through hoops to get this far in the process. My initial application went out in April. It is now January, and I have yet to get placed. I'm going to lay out a time line.

So I've been thinking that I need to write something, anything really, but I don't know how to get started. I've tried blogs but I never keep them up, I've tried diaries but feel stupid writing to myself. I need feedback on my life, and I've always been better at writing than talking. It seems like all I've done since I've been home is work. Its not entirely true, but almost. I want to do something.

I wrote today and it felt good. I need to do that more, even if just for myself.

I just realized that my life is pretty good right now. I'm making bank at a job I don't mind (pretty cool people, low stress, get to surf imdb for hours, etc), I have a second interview with Barnes and Noble tomorrow night and I'm not worried about it, I have good friends in every time zone, I'm going to see Rocket Summer on Sunday with my favorite ( Read more... )

As of 2:19 AM April 19, I am a free woman. I have crossed and now become a sister of Kappa Sigma Alpha, a co-ed fraternity and I am exhausted.
