Trapped in a book

Apr 26, 2011 21:40

My absence with most of everything has assembled a feeling of loneliness. I've been quite lonely for quite some time now that it scares me. Now, I'm back. Hello my close friends of LiveJournal. ♥

I've been sucked in the The Hunger Games trilogy this week. I'm trapped in their novels and I can't seem to find a way out. So far, I've only bought the ( Read more... )

I'm so glad that you're back! :D How's life in college? :3 I've missed you so much~ ♥ I'm still on a break till the end of May, perhaps? And I'm looking forward to read your future entries, hehe~

I've heard of The Hunger Games trilogy by Fatima (was it?), or maybe it was you before, and sadly I haven't read them yet but after seeing this entry of yours, maybe I would like to buy those books someday, if I ever get to go to the big town and have extra cash in my pocket. I always love good books, they really do make you seem as though as you have lived through one life after another. <333

Well, it's not surprising that you've finished reading good books in only a few days' time. I would practically finish all of the good books instantly too, because when I'm glued to a book, I AM GLUED ALRIGHT. xD

Thank you for your welcome parade. :D School has been dreadful because I don't fit it in well apparently but who cares? Life has to go on! *Thumbs up*
Before we jump in to confusions in the future, when I said college in the past, I hope you didn't think it as in uni. It's actually another term for high school. I know, we have a weird system here. I don't get it myself. *whistles*

Oh yes I remember Fatima mentioned it before. But I had been pondering on this trilogy until I received all positive comments and recommendations about them from many people. So I decided to give it a shot and here we are. (:

Is there a local library in your neighbourhood? You could try that and I'm sure they'll have the novels since they are such a hit at the moment. <3

It's a definitely a flip-over-pages kind of book. I had to go to the toilet once but I just held it in because it was so difficult to put the book down. I didn't want the novel to end because it's just that great.

You're most welcomed! :D Aww, I'm so sorry to hear that but as long as you are optimistic and keep trying your best, I'm sure that the good days aren't too far away, I'll be rooting for ya! Oh, I see, so is it secondary school (that's how it's called in my country but in LJ, I refer it to high school)?

That's great! <3You're the second person I've heard this from and if many people continue giving positive comments on this book, I'm so going to buy it myself. C:

I do have a local library here but it's really far away from my house (in town) and since my dad's working aboard and mum's busy with school (she's a teacher) and house chores, I rarely have the time to go out. D: And I think I lost my membership card somehow... The last time I went there was like 4 years ago... D:

Yes, I do understand that hard-to-put-down sensation! 8D I did that a few times too when I had a good book in my hands~ xD

I loved it and I keep flashing back the story in my mind. Each sentence were described so well that you can definitely picture what the author is trying to say. Brilliant!

I can't wait to start Mockingjay as soon as I purchase it. Don't worry, you'll get the time soon. Aaah, exactly what happened to me before. I couldn't think of other things when I was doing my homework except imagining about Katniss in the game. XD

Oh yes, I've heard about the movie for some time now from Wikipedia. It'll be a loooongggg wait 'till it comes out. I'm very excited as well!

I'm not fully satisfied with the casts. I thought the actor playing Peeta was perfect -- except the fact that his hair isn't blonde like the book described him as -- because he looked tough. Nevertheless, I was expecting a better Katniss and the actor playing Gale (Liam Hemsworth) looks too old to be playing him.

Hehe, yes it's really good that we both have something in common here. <3
