Kate!! I was hoping you would disappear on us, I've been wondering how France is :) Whats the weather like? Does your host family speak english?

I know what you mean about getting away from your safety net of people. Even though everyone at school speaks english, its still hard to break away from all of us international students sticking together. I'm only slowly getting to know the Belizean students, and I feel like I don't know what to talk to them about. Keep us updated!

Moi non plus! Je veux essayer a faire des amis francais, mais je ne sais pas ce que je pourrais leur parler non plus. C'est difficile . . . et, en plus, faire des amis d'IES qui ne viennent pas de Northwestern.

Tell me if you didn't understand that . . . I almost feel guilty when I speak/do things in English.

C'est bien, je comprende :) Mais je pense que je ne souviens pas comment de...conjugate...(lol) en francais.

Aussi! J'ai oublie de dire - est-ce que tu aime les repas francaises (how the heck do you spell that)?? Je les adore. Et pardonne-moi si je ne peux pas ecrire en francais.

J'adore les repas francais! Avec le frommage, et le yaourt, et les fruits, ce sont tres bons.

Je suis treeeeessss fatigue . . . nous faisons trop chaque jour, je pense.

Hahaha. There's a Genevieve in my program, she might think it's a little weird . . . as might everyone else, if I suddenly got pregnant in France.

Maybe I will! Do you have any breaks? If I visit you, I should plan it very well, especially since IES wants a copy of our itineraries when we leave town.

We have three day weekends always, and some extra days I will have to look up. If you have time, I would love for you to visit! Madrid is gorgeous :)
