today was supposed to be awesome. today i was going to take more pictures of sea critters. and i was going to go to an awesome house warming. plus i was going to play softball. but after yesterday's fall into a crap load of barnacle covered rocks... yeah. i sat everything out. i feel like a big loser

My goodness, that sounds incredibly painful. Anything happening to your fingers is especially bad because you are constantly using them and washing them and they have every opportunity to reverse the healing process. Maybe you are in need of Bandaid "skin" or whatever that stuff is. Shawn told me when he had awful blisters from rowing on his hands that was the only thing that helped.
