I'm glad that you've decided to update your LJ again. Not so glad that it wasn't a delightfully happy day for you, but such is life when you're in the crapland that is high school. I really do hope that, once you leave Idaho, your life will pick up and you'll feel your self-esteem rising. I wish that could happen without you leaving, but I do believe that places like this hellhole bring you down.
And I know it sounds dorky, but I love you, and we really, really do need to hang out sometime. If Anime Oasis weren't next weekend, I would demand that you come to lunch with me or something like that (because my mom's getting home this weekend and I can't really do a whole lot after not seeing her for three freakin' weeks!). ♥
I don't enjoy working, so I'll never understand why you want to do it more. Even the motivation of money isn't enough for me. More hours for you is a recipe, in my mind, for getting to do less of the things that ultimately matter more in life than getting paid $6.25 an hour, like most teenagers. (I don't know what you make, but you know what I mean, ne?)
We'll have to talk about it this week and next, work something out for post-Anime Oasis and post-Mom-gets-home that does not interfere with your work schedule and your personal life!

Seriously, I like, don't work very much. It just uber sucks when I do.
