I am feeling frustrated right now because I can't seem to keep anyone in my life. Everyone keeps leaving me. The only people I can keep are those that live with me, and that's because we're legally bound. I seriously think that there's something wrong with me. There has to be ( Read more... )

Is your rent disgustingly expensive, even with roommates? And is there any way that, when you move, you can go somewhere much cheaper so you can have an easier time paying for the laptop and maybe not having to work a million hours?

I'm impressed that you left home and went out on your own - not to a college dorm, where you're still kinda protected, but to your own apartment. I couldn't do it. Reading about you doing it scares me and impresses me more that you're handling it as well as you seem to be.

Rent is $500 with roommates, I plan to move to a cheaper place, or same price, but get more, like my own room and a place to park my car, and less roommates. I just don't know if I should buy it yet because I don't know where I am going to move and how much it's going to cost. But I also don't know how long that computer will be at that price. Do you think it's a good deal?

Hey hey, remember also that it was in an entirely different state, and I was only 17. Haha. Yeah, I'm proud, and appreciate what your saying.
It's not as hard as I thought it would be, at all. Going to school at the same time would have been a problem, but I know I'd work it out somehow, I always do. I wouldn't recommend it for your position because it's unnecessary. Save money, see your family, way better deal. I should have done it. :/ Oh well, new and different experiences. It doesn't really matter.

I have no idea what rent's like in Seattle, but seems to me that five hundred is gooood; I've heard a lot of nightmare stories about it being the most expensive city in the U.S. now.

I do think it's a good deal. My computer and all its accessories was sixteen hundred dollars, and it's a 180GB hard drive. If you can get financing, I'd say you're smart to go for it; HP computers - not printers, computers - are reliable, I've heard.

Yeah! That makes it about, mmmhh, eighty-four times more impressive!

You'll work it out when you get to Evergreen; I think one of your best strengths is that you're adaptable and even when you're not sure what you want, you'll fight even to figure that out and then you'll fight for what you find you do want. That, too, is spiffish about you. And new experiences are always good; one of these days, I'll go get some. ^^6

That's a bit steep for my situation, but pretty good if you have your own room.

I really want a mac though, and I need to move and I want a car, so I'm torn.

I can't wait to go to Evergreen.
