Hey -- don't know if you still check this journal, but I happened across this entry just now. That's sooooo sad that you got off the trail! I was sure you'd go the whole way. It sounds like you have certainly moved on to other things, but I just wanted to say that reading this entry really affected me. If you recall, I left for my thruhike of the AT less than a month before you left for the PCT.
