Anyway, you might guess that I fell down a well of Stan and Redford's imdb page because of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, AND YOU WOULD BE RIGHT. Thanks, Uncle Feige, for bringing me WIOOOTCH; KIIIIIIIIIIIINGSSSSS, the greatest television show of our time; for bringing me STABLE BANK ROBBING TRIAD WITH A DEATH WISH; and oh my god I had no idea how much I needed to see Robert Redford be a brainwashed queerball who falls for tomboy Natalie Wood (OR DOES HE) with evil Captain Von Trapp in the background. Ugh. SO HAPPY about CA:TWS on a billion levels. Anyway.

What I would give for a reworked scene where vows of love are made before God, only it's two men. "Then Jonathan made a covenant with David, because he loved him as his own soul."

This show is absolutely the best thing to ever happen to me, media wise. I'm an angsty queerball christian raised in the bible belt who loves QUALITY AUs, and so this spoke to DEEEEEEEEEEPLY. There's a lot of great Jack/David fic out there already, but I am a GREEDY PIECE OF WORK, so spin me a yarn. And don't FORGET THE ACTUAL CANON:

HOW EASILY POLY THEY ARE??!!) and I also had no idea it was a comedy. My parents have already been thoroughly chewed out for not showing this to me when I was a child. This movie ROCKS. Anyway. I NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THIS MOVIE. OH MY GOD MELORA SWAN, LIFE OR WIFE GOALS.), but look. This movie is cramazing. I've been slowly watching all of Robert Redford's movies, and when I got to this one, I was BLOWN AWAY. What a horrible dark film about EVIL CAPTAIN VON TRAPP AND HIS SEXY AMAZING WIFE BRAINWASHING BEAUTIFUL YOUNG STARLETS and ROBERT REDFORD IS GAY AND THE MOVIE IS SO CHILL ABOUT IT. AAAAAAAAAAAAH. I cannot recommend this movie enough. The scene where Robert Redford's character is introduced is like THE HOTTEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN. The movie is SO TWISTED. Super into it. Anyway.
