My understanding is that they are more or less the same game, but for some reason developed two different names and themes. The werewolf theme fits a bit more for Hallowe'en, so I figured I'd run with that. :)
I'm totally game for the first two, if the night works out. I've been on the lookout for a more convenient board game group for a while and even thinking of starting my own.
Currently I play with some old friend in Kenosha once every other month or out at my brother's game store in Dekalb once a month. Both are an hour an a half away! I have a number of games I could contribute too.
I've not played werewolf, but my brother plays it all the time at his store and it's one of his favorites. I've been wanting to give it a try for a while.
#3 sounds fun too if I can swing it, but my weekend schedule is usually crazy enough that devoting a whole day/weekend to any one thing is tough.

I will obviously need to check with Ed. But I know we were talking about trying to do something like this at our house last year and didn't get around to it. We have the room and we have been meaning to have everyone over especially to meet our new addition Taryn.:) I will ask him and let you know. What dates were you thinking of?
I think we'd be for a board game night here, but it would have to be after Halloween only because both of our schedules look a bit full right now (between Methuss trying to find a job and me having a ton of sewing jobs to finish by the 31st).
...although I am not sure how much gaming could be done at our place with Pepper and her ability to be mobile and to snag game pieces and cards when you aren't looking. *lol*
I really love the fall festival idea. I know we were planning on doing "Boo At The Zoo" at Brookfield and maybe even Pumpkinfest in Sycamore this year. :)

but... is werewolf anything like mafia? Based on your description, it sounds similar.
