If anyone has any leads on new jobs - it's just become about 100,000 times more important that I get a new one as soon as possible.

Thanks!

They were able to get me office temp jobs starting at $10/hr and I ended up with $13/hr. working for State Farm. They found jobs for me with as little as two weeks pre-notice on my part. Both the State Farm job and the job at Page Net offered me full time positions at the end of my time at increased salaries (Nordstrom did not offer me anything as I only worked there 5 weeks during the holidays).

The only qualm I had was that I was always doing data entry and had to work standard 9-5 hours (I know, can you believe the gall of them! =)

oh, and Nordstrom made me pay for my coffee.... the fascists! =)

I'm making around $12/Hr. now, I need something just a bit more than that, considering what's on the way. Realistically, I need to be making at least $32,000/year gross as opposed to the $24,400Yr. Gross I'm currently making.

Ah, sorry. I replied to this before I read the former post which explained that you did not actually lose your current job... =P

You could always apply to work at the post office. They make some pretty good scratch there.

My company is hiring for customer service positions but it's a bit of a hike out to Batavia. I know I started at more than $24,400 and have been there about 3 1/2 years now and am up quite a bit higher now.
www.vwr.com go to the bottom of the US webpage and click on about us and then the careers link. :)

I might have something. I just saw someone on one of the MFU yahoo groups say they're hiring at her work, here in IL. I emailed her asking for more info. I'll let you know when I see it.

I think the position I recommended you for had an offer out to someone who later accepted. Really. It was filled within a week. And I make over $18/hr. after 2 raises.
