Sounds like an invasion...not a dinner party!

It really depends. Naperville is a bit of a hike...and that's a lot of people for any restaraunt. I would almost suggest taking over some sort of quick service place like a hamburger shop. As the Mongolian BBQ folks might charge gratuity for a party of over 20...and we'd be in their regular dining room.

For approx $14 per person...we could use the party room at Portillo's. (There's one in Naperville.)

Hey hun...Well, with that date we will have to back out. Even though it sounds like an amazing amount of fun :) We will be in Wisconsin at the Dells that weekend with Kraibald's family. Hopefully the next time we'll be able to make it. :)

I know, I wanted something a little more "sitdown". Usually gratuity is around average tip prices, so that's not too big a deterrent.

I'm just worried that they may not be able to seat us all together; I'll have to call and ask.

Limiter: There's one at Bolingbrook off 355 if it is more central. Also there is a new Portillo's w/ reservable party room at 83 and Plainfield.

Ordinary: We have at least a very comfy couch. The spare bed is somewhat buried by furniture for my cousin, but we do also have an air mattress if you prefer. And there will be coffee in the morning.

We have an actual guest room about 20 min. from Naperville if you would rather.

It would be a little closer. Some of the people from that direction will not be able to make it on that date it looks like, so that may be a bit more of a compromise for everyone.

Keep also in mind, that these are ideas we are bandying about; I'm definitely up for hearing any other suggestions people have as far as somewhere we can meet for a nice meal and have a bit of a group gathering.

So far, the ones that have been put on the table are B.D.'s and Portillo's. I want to hear what works for people.

We would love to come, but Kilted's nursing schedule is determined by others, so there's no way to know if he'd be able to get the day off. Plus, it's the middle of tax season, and I have a feeling any day not spent working will be spent sleeping.
Maybe we can get together and do something after April 15th?
