2/2 SO STEP RIGHT UP AND SEE THE POSSIBILITIES~limitless_landJanuary 7 2011, 22:53:15 UTC
[Riku's eyes narrow dangerously, though there's an evident sneer crossing his lips. Dangerous waters, Enjin. Very dangerous. Especially since he and his dark friend have been growing quite restless with all the death in the streets.]
A prelude to destruction. Really; is that all you could come up with? Catering to the hero-types oh so much?
1/? ohshit NOT AGAINoh_neku_dearJanuary 7 2011, 23:02:39 UTC
Trouble is his hobby, Riku.
[He hears that, and doesn't think it wise for Riku to get anymore pissed off than he is already.]
The prologue's passed, and now we're on to Act 1. Who knew it'd be so tiresome to be an actor?
[If he could, he'd shrug.]
Didn't you say something about them running around like chickens with their heads cut-off, Enjin? I seem to recall you enjoy seeing such a silly sight.
2/? LMAO YUP. So much banter herestoleurniisanJanuary 7 2011, 23:09:44 UTC
It's rather amusing that they're as incompetent as they are, yes. But things are just getting started, don't you think? I haven't done anything yet.
[ He makes an absent shrug, playing with his razorblade, holding his hands up. The one with his razorblade in it is being held between his fingers, and he waves that hand absently. ]
And here I thought you were the spoiled star, J! I would think you'd enjoy being the center of attention.
Such a shame that Phones isn't here to see the entire show, huh?
[ He smiles, closing his eyes. Pretty much this icon. ]
Your friend there seems to be a bit hostile. Really, now... I guess he wants me to do something else. I suppose he really doesn't care about his friends much if he's asking me to up the anti, huh?
[ Enjin makes a 'tsk' noise at Riku. ] You know, that's pretty sad. How cold and heartless can you be?
...Y such a smartass, man. |Dlimitless_landJanuary 8 2011, 00:40:45 UTC
So I've noticed.
[Another calming breath, and the roll of the eyes partially hidden by his bangs. Quite hilarious, really. Though, if they pay attention the sound of metal clanging could be heard in the background.]
Ah, so I'm late to the play? Are you trying to set me up as one of the irksome hero-types who just charge in like a witless moron? Though, I do believe it's worked in the past...
[A chuckle, though he is watching that hand with the razor blade closely. Though, the mention of Neku. An unseen fist is clenched. Enjin wouldn't get the joy of shaking his calm facade any more.]
Me? Hostile? No, it's because I have a heart and am powerless to control it. [He smirks faintly, cheating just a bit. There's a whistle in the background.]
2/? Oh yes. The smartest assholes you ever met <3stoleurniisanJanuary 8 2011, 02:22:18 UTC
[ He laughs. ]
So cold. No, I'm afraid, as we've said... he's currently busy.
[ Enjin gives Riku an 'innocent' smile. ]
Not in the least. The stars of this play are only the ones that can actually act, kid. Which you can't, I'm afraid. In fact, his acting right now is pretty piss poor--I can tell he's furious and hiding it well. No one is normally THAT calm, are they?
[ Flick. Close. He's flicking the razorblade open and shut. ]
4/6 This icon will be used a lot here, I think.stoleurniisanJanuary 8 2011, 02:38:03 UTC
Tea is too watery. And the flavor's far too subtle. You should try cocoa.
[ Right, then, to Joshua: ]
... Well, you're a better actor than him, anyway. Heh. I wouldn't be surprised if, say, he comes up with another line to try and bait me, thinking maybe he can, I don't know, make me release info, or something.
It's basic strategy to, after all, keep them talking. And I do rather enjoy my theatrics. But I do hope the kid knows I'm not an idiot, because if he doesn't... I'm a little disappointed. I expected this call to be someone INTERESTING.
Seems he doesn't wanna help you, J. Isn't that sad?
6/6 ... Noooot until now, no. And no don't make a post just yet about this, pls.stoleurniisanJanuary 8 2011, 02:59:05 UTC
Heh. Why am I not surprised you're such a romantic sap?
[ And the camera is turned to see only Joshua now. From where Joshua is, Enjin's back can only be seen, but you can see his smirk in the reflection of his razorblade.
Ca-click. ]
Well, since you're so busy trying your hardest NOT to care about him, I'm afraid we have some pre-show rehearsals to do, Darkness boy.
Work on your acting lessons next time, and maybe you'll get a part in the actual production.
[ And with a smirk, he takes the SFC, showing one final 'innocent' smile that is horribly, horribly foreboding, and the feed cuts to static. ]
1/3 I won't; don't you worry.limitless_landJanuary 8 2011, 03:18:47 UTC
That would be correct. He never did pick the brightest of friends. [ There's a faint chuckle, but the acting is slowly waring thin. ] I'll swing by there later, then.
[ He only just vaguely listens to Enjin's words, not really trying to bait him; no, that would be an insult to their intelligence. He knows Enjin is rather cunning and thus, there's a bit of wariness to his gaze now. Slowly, ever so slowly that facade is cracking. ]
I don't pretend to act, and frankly I don't give a damn what you say about me. Go ahead and continue trying to play your petty mind games; hell's much worse than-
2/? Okay, I liedlimitless_landJanuary 8 2011, 03:20:13 UTC
[ His teeth clench and his gaze drops. No, losing it would only tip off more than one person right now. That calm tone he had this entire call? It's been thrown out the window. ]
Funny you should ask, Riku.

[He sounds oh-so amused, but he really doesn't like being called J by Enjin. That's reserved for Sanae and Sanae only.]
Perhaps, perhaps not. Perhaps I'm just a fickle star who likes to go back and forth between being in the limelight and being backstage.
Oh, I don't know, I think we're doing just fine without him.

Ah, right. Riku, would you be a dear and make sure there's still some tea stocked up in the house? I have a feeling it'll be needed.

That would be lovely, but I don't think I'll need it half as much as Aziraphale or dear Kyouriki.

How nice to know that I have a fan. And why shouldn't I be calm? It does me no good to freak out, now, does it?

[A soft scoff.]
It takes years of practice, as any good actor will tell you.
You're anything but, I have to agree. There's nothing better than an intelligent man with no morals, wouldn't you say?
Hee hee, such a shame it couldn't be more fun for you.
[Some subtle sarcasm to stir it up a bit. He also refuses to grace that last question with an answer.]
