Yes, he did just say that. And it had been two hundred seventy-five days for him to think about if you included his time withing this place. He'd be a bit more understanding about what Rep's point in time could be and, judging by what he practically confirmed when he first responded... Oh, boy.]

Of all the things to come out of Riku's mouth, this was by the far the most insane, most incomprehensible, the most... impossible.

He doesn't deal well with change - a byproduct of so much of his world shifting in an instant, one of his deepest desires is that things just remain constant. He takes so long to adapt to anything that the world basically moves far too fast for him to catch up - it's a steep learning curve, and he's still at the bottom.

It would've been infinitely easier on him if Riku had never apologized in the first place. It didn't make things easier - it made them more complicated, and that was what Rep didn't like. He knew how to hate Riku, or at least snap angrily at him. He didn't have any memories - not from Riku, not from Sora's ideal of Riku, and certainly not from Zexion - that prepared him for this
