Ugh this was so heartbreaking, but I love how you end it on a note of hope :')) If you see any pieces of my heart around, please return them to me. Of course Jessica would be a closet romanticist and write messages down in cranes instead of saying them to Taeyeon out loud. Sooyoung is a really good friend, I hope she and Taeyeon stay close even though they don't work together anymore. And Krystal's cameo is just perfect, yep Taeyeon, them Jungs have something about them, don't they?

These two passages just got to me so much:

Should have spent more time with her is what her conscience says but her heart says no, the problem is I won’t get any more time with her.

It is then that she realizes what she was regretting was not the lost past, but the lost future, not what had not been, but what would never be.

and

You keep me without chains.

Ah, yes. I wanted to leave readers with an optimistic view of life. My fics sort of follow slice of life lessons (Well, the ongoings do lol) Haha I'm sure your pieces of your heart have healed by now. The Jungs. :') Ah! I really like those passages too. I totally lost it when I read the little messages from Jessica. I can't believe you. Gahhh what are these feelings?! As if Taengsic is not angsty enough alreadyyyyy.

"I feel a rise in my chest when I see that smile.
I look for you in everyone." - god, this one hit home so bad.

I already said my goodbye to this fic on the last chapter but oh god, I guess this is the final final goodbye? I hope so. Can't take anymore of this angst.

Reading your first four sentences really made me laugh in a good way. I am quite surprised at how 'Alive' has been the cause of tears among many! Haha, TaengSic coming with pre-angst is what made this fic really work in my eyes. This is the final final goodbye. Don't worry, there is no sequel or epilogue. Thanks for reading!

My dear, dear Lim. I ended this fic, and took a long inhale and let it out with the widest smile on my face. This has to be a favorite of mine by you. It's so seamless how all of this flowed. It's a quick read but nothing gets lost. You feel everything in the banter and the emotion

I literally let out a scream when I read this for the first time. Ugh, I am so happy someone picked up on the dinner for one line as I intentionally planted it three times throughout the fic. :') Ughhhh Boxxy! Yes, yes, yes! Hi Lim! I almost never comment on LJ (this might be my 2nd comment in 5 years lol) but I just have to tell you that this is the most emotional TaengSic fic I've ever read. I can't tell you how many tissues I've gone through. It's 2am and I have class in the morning -- I'm gonna show up with puffy red eyes -- but hell, this was worth it. Jessica's character was perfect, the pacing was well done, the emotions weren't forced, and the ending was beautiful. Flawless. Simply raw and flawless. I hope you keep writing TaengSic because you just became one of my favorite authors. Cheers <3

--The messages on the cranes. Oh man, that was brilliant and so beautifully written. An original spin on the "deceased leaves a message for their living loved ones". Then the written replies from T and the last scene. Damn, damn good.
